We don’t have much room in our shop, so we carefully edit and refine our selection until we land on the pieces we know you’ll love and cherish for years to come. Our admiration for Lucy Michel has grown steadily, thanks to her exceptional craftsmanship, distinctive design sensibility, and remarkable attention to detail.

In a world full of talented makers, we aim to build lasting relationships with artists whose work feels just a little more special—work that resonates. Lucy’s pieces do exactly that.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Lucy recently made the heartfelt decision to move her family to the Monterey Peninsula. She’s felt a deep connection to this area since childhood and returned again and again until finally deciding to make it her permanent home.

We’re thrilled she’s now a local. There’s a waiting list for her creations at the shop, and we fully intend to visit her studio as often as she’ll let us—so you can finally get your hands on her beautiful wares. Lucy is as timeless and charming as the ceramics she creates.

Her move feels like a perfect fit—not just for her, but for all of us who now get to call her our neighbor.
